While traveling from Toronto to India via Ethiopia, I had a layover of about 6 to 8 hours in Addis Ababa in oct 10 Friday I decided to explore the nearby area and stopped to ask two local men for directions. Due to the language barrier, communication was difficult—and in that moment, they stole my phone. When I reached my hotel, I reported the incident to the ground staff.
